Selection Process for Haryana CET 2023
When the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) begins recruiting for Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ roles, candidates meeting the eligibility criteria based on their CET scores will receive notifications. The Commission will decide whether selection will solely depend on CET scores or if an additional test will be necessary. For Group D positions, selection will be solely based on CET scores, while Group C roles may require an additional test.
The selection process includes inviting candidates for recruitment based on their CET score or percentile. If the vacancies are up to 50 posts, five times the total number of positions will be called for recruitment based on the CET score or percentile. For positions exceeding 50, three times the number of candidates will be invited for recruitment based on the CET score or percentile, categorized accordingly. In case multiple candidates meet the cutoff criteria, all eligible candidates will be considered.
Additionally, a maximum of 5 marks will be given for social, economic, and experiential factors, which will be directly added to the CET score for both Group C and Group D positions.
Haryana CET 2023 Prelims Exam Pattern
The Haryana CET 2023 written exam is divided into six sections, with a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question carries a weightage of 0.95 marks, making the total marks for the exam 95. It’s important to note that there is no penalty for incorrect answers, but leaving a question unanswered will lead to a deduction of 0.95 marks. In such instances, the fifth option should be selected if the candidate opts not to attempt a particular question.
